Many organisations monitor their consumption without knowing where to act. Meter readings exist but significant energy uses are not identified, indicators shift scope from one year to the next, and the savings announced never appear on the utility bills. The certification requirement adds documentary pressure that technical teams rarely welcome.

This 7-hour programme sets out the logic of the ISO 50001 standard and how it is applied in practice. It covers the energy review, the selection of significant energy uses, the design of workable performance indicators and an energy baseline, the metering plan and the conduct of the audit.

Teaching methods

Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
