Description

AI for Management Controllers: Reliable Data, Sharper Analysis, Clear Reporting

Reclaim on reporting production the time you lack to explain variances to operational teams

  • 0.43 days — 3 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Intermediate
  • Up to 6 participants

Management controllers spend most of the closing period collecting, checking and reformatting data. Analysis comes last, when the executive committee is already waiting for the pack. Variance commentary is repeated month after month for lack of time to investigate the real cause.

This three-hour virtual workshop is designed for management controllers in post. Participants put artificial intelligence to work on preparation tasks, detect anomalies in a data set and produce variance commentary that remains fully under their control.

Learning objectives

  • Automate consistency checks on a management data set
  • Detect anomalies and series breaks in a monthly reporting pack
  • Produce evidence-based variance commentary from the available data
  • Generate formulas and queries from an instruction written in plain language
  • Review AI-assisted output before it is circulated to the executive committee

What makes this programme different

Exercises are based on a monthly reporting pack close to the participants' own
Every AI-assisted output goes through a consistency check before release
Effective prompts are captured in a reusable library
