Description

TMS Projects: Defining Requirements, Selecting the Solution and Delivering Go-Live

Run a Treasury Management System project without discovering the gaps on go-live day

  • 0.43 days — 3 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Intermediate
  • Up to 6 participants

A Treasury Management System project rarely fails because of the technology. It fails because of a poorly defined scope, underestimated bank connectivity, improvised data migration or a treasury team already absorbed by daily operations. Go-live slips and the system ends up being used at a fraction of its capability.

This three-hour virtual workshop walks through the structuring stages of a TMS project: requirements definition, solution selection, integration with the information system and go-live management. Each stage is examined through its breaking points and through the deliverables that prevent them.

Learning objectives

  • Formalise the requirements and the expected functional scope of the TMS
  • Build a comparison matrix for solutions available on the market
  • Identify the banking and accounting interfaces to be implemented
  • Plan data migration and testing phases
  • Organise go-live and adoption by the treasury team

What makes this programme different

Each stage is presented through the breaking points observed on real projects
A solution comparison matrix is built during the session
The actual workload placed on the treasury team during the project is quantified explicitly
