After successfully running a few projects, IT project managers face tougher situations. Requirements shift midway, technical dependencies multiply and vendors commit to vague undertakings. The original schedule does not hold and trade-offs are made under pressure, with no visibility on their consequences.

These two days strengthen delivery practice on innovative projects. You work on selecting the project trajectory, then on controlling risks and dependencies, as well as managing vendors and preparing the move to production.

  • Identifying and rating project risks
  • Response plans and monitoring of residual risks

4Quality, Testing and Go-Live

Delivering without breaking what exists

  • Acceptance testing strategy and test data sets
  • Defect handling and decision criteria
  • Preparing the cutover and the rollback plan
  • Handover to operations and user support

Having managed an IT project or completed an introductory project management programme.

Practical details

Before the programme
Online positioning questionnaire. Your development objectives are shared with the trainer, who tailors the practical case studies to your context.
Teaching methods
Theoretical input, workshops and practical case studies. Digital course materials and method sheets provided.
Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
