Description

Productivity and AI: Identify, Delegate and Quality-Check Your Daily Tasks

Identify the repetitive tasks best handled by an assistant and those you should keep for yourself

  • 0.43 days — 3 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Drafting minutes, rephrasing a sensitive message, clearing an inbox, preparing a presentation outline: these tasks eat into the working day without producing visible value. Many professionals have tried a generative assistant once, obtained an average result and given up for lack of method.

Over three hours in a virtual classroom, this workshop starts from the participants' real tasks. It shows where an assistant genuinely saves time, how to frame a request that delivers a usable result first time, and how to review output quickly so that the time saved is not lost to corrections.

Learning objectives

  • Identify the tasks in your week that lend themselves to generative assistance
  • Frame a request that includes context
  • format and an expected example
  • Produce minutes or a message from raw notes
  • Review generated output against a quick control checklist
  • Build a personal library of reusable requests

What makes this programme different

The task inventory is built from your actual calendar for the past week
Each participant leaves with five standard requests saved and tested
Review time is measured to confirm that the time saving is real

Programme

1Identifying tasks to delegate

Start from your week rather than from the tool

  • Inventory of repetitive tasks and the time they consume
  • Tasks that are poorly suited to generative assistance
  • Data that must not be entrusted to an external tool
  • Selecting the first three use cases to put in place

2Obtaining a usable result

The quality of the request determines the quality of the output

  • Components of an effective request: context
  • role
  • format and example
  • Short iteration cycles to correct a disappointing output
  • Request templates for drafting
  • summarising and rephrasing
  • Saving the requests that work

3Embedding the routine without losing control

Check quickly and retain ownership of the content

  • Review checklist: facts
  • figures and tone
  • Warning signs that should trigger an in-depth verification
  • Boundaries to set in exchanges with clients
  • Tracking time saved over a few weeks
