Description
AI in the Public Sector: Understanding Uses, Weighing Options and Deciding
One day to establish what artificial intelligence genuinely changes in the running of a public service
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Requests come from every direction: a vendor offers an assistant for the front desk, one department quietly trials a drafting tool, a board paper mentions an artificial intelligence plan. Decision-makers must rule on these matters without technical reference points and without knowing what these tools actually do or what commitments they create.
This 7-hour programme is designed for those who decide. It clarifies what the main families of tools cover, shows where they add real value in public service missions and where they fail. It provides a decision framework for approving or declining a project and for situating the responsibilities of the entity concerned.
Learning objectives
- Distinguish the main families of artificial intelligence tools and their uses
- Identify relevant use cases within your entity's missions
- Assess the benefits and limitations of a project before committing to it
- Situate the entity's responsibilities regarding data and transparency
- Build an experimentation roadmap suited to your entity's resources
