Description
Leading Change: Preparing, Engaging Teams and Embedding New Practices
Deliver a reorganisation or a new system by addressing resistance rather than working around it
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
A change announced in a meeting and then launched without preparation rarely produces the intended effect. Teams carry on with their old habits, objections surface through informal channels and the project stalls, to the point where senior management concludes there is a motivation problem when the difficulties are usually organisational.
These two days structure change management from the manager's standpoint. You analyse the operational impacts, identify the stakeholders to mobilise, build communication step by step and define how to verify that the new practices are genuinely being adopted.
Learning objectives
- Analyse the impacts of a change on the roles concerned
- Identify the stakeholders to mobilise and the support expected from each
- Build a communication plan paced by the project milestones
- Respond to the objections raised by teams
- Define indicators to track adoption
- Organise the lessons-learned review after go-live
