Description
Stepping Into a Management Role: Diagnose, Set the Framework and Succeed in Your First 100 Days
Two virtual days to build the plan for your first three months in a new management role
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- All levels
- Up to 6 participants
A manager's first weeks are watched closely. Every decision and every cancelled meeting is interpreted by the team and by senior management. Many newly appointed managers commit to change far too quickly, or wait far too long before setting out their working framework.
Two virtual days to prepare for taking up a management role. You clarify the mandate entrusted to you and what is genuinely expected of you. You build your diagnostic approach and prepare your first one-to-one conversations. You leave with a sequenced three-month plan and clearly defined review points.
Learning objectives
- Clarify the mandate received and senior management's expectations for the settling-in period
- Conduct a diagnosis of your scope with the team and key stakeholders
- Prepare your first one-to-one meetings and your first team meeting
- Set out your working rules and priorities in front of your team
- Sequence your actions over three months with clearly identified review points
