Description
Community Management: Running Your Social Media Channels, Moderating and Reporting
Organise the day-to-day running of your social media channels and keep up the pace without losing entire days to it
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Running an organisation's social media channels often comes down to posting whenever time allows and then replying to comments under pressure. Without an editorial line or a calendar the presence becomes irregular, replies are slow and the smallest negative remark takes on unexpected proportions.
This 14-hour programme puts a practical working method in place: choosing platforms, setting an editorial line, building a publishing calendar, producing suitable formats, running and moderating channels day to day, then tracking a small number of useful indicators. It focuses on day-to-day community management rather than on leading an editorial team.
Learning objectives
- Select the platforms that match your organisation's audiences
- Define an editorial line and recurring content formats
- Build a publishing calendar that is sustainable over time
- Manage conversations and moderate difficult comments
- Track a small set of indicators and report on them simply
