MRP II and Production Management: Planning, Calculating and Controlling Requirements

Understand how requirements planning actually works before blaming the system for its proposals

The system suggests launching a production order that is already running and buying a component that is sitting in stock. Planners correct entries by hand, switch off the proposals and end up working on a parallel spreadsheet. The problem rarely lies with the software: it lies with the technical data and the parameters that nobody has kept up to date.

Two days to revisit the MRP II mechanics, from planning horizons through to the reconciliation of load and capacity, covering technical data and net requirements calculation along the way. Every step is worked through manually on a complete case study before being applied to each participant's own context.

Teaching methods

Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
