Description

AI and Digital Tools in Training: Designing, Delivering and Assessing Sessions Differently

Putting artificial intelligence and digital tools to genuine use in service of learning

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Trainers are seeing the arrival of tools that promise to produce course materials in a matter of minutes. The risk runs both ways: giving in to the tool and losing pedagogical coherence, or rejecting it and leaving participants to use it without any framework. Between the two lies room for considered use that frees up delivery time without diluting content.

One day to position these tools within the preparation, delivery and assessment of a training course. Participants produce materials that can be reused directly in their own sessions and leave with clear usage rules they can state in front of a group. No technical background is required.

Learning objectives

  • Identify the trainer tasks where a generative tool delivers genuine gains
  • Produce learning activities from an instruction written by the trainer
  • Embed digital sequences into the flow of a session
  • Check and correct generated content before using it in front of a group
  • Set rules for the use of digital tools with participants

What makes this programme different

Each participant leaves with one sequence of their own course fully redesigned
Focused work on how instructions given to generative tools are formulated
A structured discussion on what must never be delegated to a tool

Programme

1Assisted Preparation

Saving time without losing the pedagogical thread

  • Preparation tasks suited to digital assistance
  • Writing precise and contextualised instructions
  • Producing exercise cases and questionnaires
  • Systematic verification of the content obtained

2Delivery and Engagement

Bringing the group to life with simple tools

  • Interactive sequences in the classroom and online
  • Alternating collective sessions with individual work
  • Considered use of visual materials
  • How to respond when participants use these tools themselves

3Assessment and Usage Framework

Measuring learning and setting the limits

  • Building assessments aligned with the learning objectives
  • Collecting and using participant feedback
  • Protecting personal data in a training context
  • Usage rules announced at the opening of a session
