Description

ISO 9001 Practical Guide: Understanding, Applying and Sustaining the Requirements

Three days to translate every ISO 9001 requirement into practices that are genuinely applied across the organisation

  • 3 days — 21 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

The standard is often read as an administrative text to be satisfied before the audit. Procedures accumulate without being used and the system runs in parallel to the way the organisation actually works. Process owners are unsure what to measure. Audit findings reappear year after year because no one has addressed the root cause.

These 21 hours provide the reading key to ISO 9001, requirement by requirement. Participants learn to analyse context, map processes, document only what serves a purpose and prepare for audits. They leave with a method for aligning the system as described with the work as performed.

Learning objectives

  • Read the ISO 9001 standard and position each requirement within the overall logic
  • Analyse the context of the organisation and identify interested parties
  • Map processes and define their performance indicators
  • Determine the documentation required and the evidence expected during audits
  • Prepare for a certification audit and address the findings raised
