Description
Managing Quality: Structuring the Function, Steering It and Engaging Teams
Take up the quality function and position it as a driver of performance rather than a control mechanism
- 0.75 days — 5.25 h
- In-person or virtual
- All levels
- Up to 6 participants
Quality managers often find themselves caught between a leadership team that expects certification to be maintained and operational teams that see them as the person who inspects and documents. Their time is absorbed by updating procedures and preparing for audits, while the real causes of non-quality remain untouched in workshops and departments.
A five-hour-fifteen virtual session to reposition the function: the remit and credibility of the quality manager, roadmap priorities, indicators to present to leadership and levers to engage line managers. This short format focuses on framing the role rather than mastering tools in detail.
Learning objectives
- Define the remit and boundaries of the quality function within your organisation
- Draw up a prioritised roadmap for your first twelve months
- Select non-quality indicators that resonate with leadership
- Secure the contribution of line managers without hierarchical authority
- Showcase the results of the quality approach to leadership and teams
