Description
AI and CSR: Identifying Use Cases, Equipping Reporting and Managing Risks
Applying artificial intelligence to sustainability data without losing control of published sources
- 0.43 days — 3 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
Collecting non-financial data involves dozens of contributors and a wide range of inconsistent files. Artificial intelligence is presented as the answer, yet the tools deployed often produce figures whose origin nobody can reconstruct. Data that cannot be traced will not survive verification, and the footprint of the tools themselves is rarely weighed in the balance.
Three hours to identify the use cases that genuinely serve a CSR approach: data collection and structuring, document analysis and reporting preparation. The session also addresses the limits: traceability of sources, bias in outputs, resource consumption and the sharing of responsibilities.
Learning objectives
- Identify the artificial intelligence use cases applicable to a CSR approach
- Assess the contribution of a tool to non-financial data collection
- Organise the traceability of data produced with tool support
- Detect bias and limitations in the outputs obtained
- Factor the environmental footprint of the tools into the decision
