Description

LinkedIn — Recruiting on Professional Networks: Source, Approach and Convert

One day to reach the candidates who never apply and to get replies to your approach messages

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Expert
  • Up to 6 participants

Job adverts no longer generate applications for certain roles. Approach messages sent in bulk on professional networks go unanswered. The profiles you are looking for are contacted constantly and reply only to messages that speak precisely to their occupation and their situation.

This one-day programme is designed for recruiters who already practise direct approach. It covers the construction of precise search queries, the qualification of a profile from publicly available information, the writing of approach messages and the maintenance of a talent pool. Participants work on their genuinely open vacancies and review the replies obtained from their most recent approaches.

Learning objectives

  • Build search queries combining several role-specific criteria
  • Qualify a profile from the public information available
  • Write a personalised approach message that invites a reply
  • Organise spaced follow-ups without damaging the relationship
  • Maintain a pool of approached candidates over time
  • Measure the effectiveness of your approaches and adjust your wording

What makes this programme different

Search queries built live on the participants' own open vacancies
Approach messages rewritten as a group and compared with the original versions
A talent-pool maintenance method that a recruiter working alone can sustain
