Building Energy Consumption: Measuring, Reducing and Sustaining the Savings

Reduce the energy bill of a commercial property portfolio through better operation before committing to capital works

Facilities teams are given energy reduction targets without any reliable measurement of consumption by site and by end use. Action is then limited to general instructions whose effect is never verified, and operational drift returns a few months after equipment is commissioned.

Two days to rebuild the approach in the right order: map consumption from utility bills and metering, act first on settings and operation, then prioritise investment and verify the savings actually achieved. Practical work is based on consumption data from commercial buildings.

Before the programme

Teaching methods
Theoretical input, workshops and practical case studies. Digital course materials and method sheets provided.
Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
