Description
Structured Finance: Analysing the Structure, Securing and Monitoring the Transaction
Understanding asset-backed and cash-flow-backed financing and assessing its real resilience
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
In structured finance the quality of the structure matters as much as the quality of the borrower. The revenues of a project a fleet of equipment or a receivables portfolio form the basis for repayment and the documentation organises the lender's protections. A relationship manager used to conventional lending must therefore read layered security packages and dedicated account mechanisms.
Two days to decode these transactions: distinguishing the main families of structures analysing the cash flow structure and repayment capacity identifying security interests and events of default then testing the resilience of the structure. The exercises are based on asset finance and project finance schemes drawn from the region.
