Description
Digital Insurance Contracts: Online Subscription, Servicing and Proof
Secure a remote subscription journey from pre-contractual disclosure through to evidence of the contract
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
Online subscription shifts the risk profile: pre-contractual disclosure becomes a sequence of screens, consent materialises as a click, and proof of the contract rests on technical records. In the event of a dispute, the insurer must be able to demonstrate what was displayed, when and to whom.
This one-day programme follows the electronic journey end to end: the content and timing of pre-contractual disclosure, the capture of consent and electronic signature, the delivery and archiving of documents, the exercise of free-look and cancellation rights, and the handling of endorsements remotely. The work is based on the analysis of live subscription journeys.
Learning objectives
- Structure the pre-contractual information delivered throughout the online journey
- Capture consent in a way that can be evidenced
- Select the level of electronic signature appropriate to the contract concerned
- Organise the archiving of documents and journey records
- Handle free-look cancellation, endorsements and termination remotely
