Description

Canva Intermediate: Composing, Animating and Scaling Your Content

Moving from customised templates to a controlled output of animated content and multi-format series

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Intermediate
  • Up to 6 participants

Regular Canva users quickly hit a ceiling: visuals remain acceptable but all look alike, each variation is reworked by hand, and animated or video formats are avoided for lack of a clear method. Production becomes repetitive and time-consuming.

This one-day programme assumes the tool is already in daily use. It covers advanced composition, background removal and effects, animated and short video formats, the creation of brand kits and locked team templates, as well as the organisation of collaborative work and approval flows.

Learning objectives

  • Compose an original visual without starting from an existing template
  • Use background removal layers and effects to create visual hierarchy
  • Produce a short animation or video suited to social media
  • Build a brand kit and locked templates for a team
  • Organise collaboration comments and approvals on a project

What makes this programme different

Each participant produces one content item declined across three formats
A short video is edited subtitled and exported during the session
A locked team template is built and tested by another participant

Programme
