Description

Microsoft Copilot for Beginners: Write, Summarise and Save Time with AI

Take your first steps with Microsoft Copilot and obtain usable results within the first week

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

The assistant is switched on but nobody uses it. Early requests return hollow, generic text. The output is either copied without checking or abandoned after a few attempts. Without a method for framing requests and reviewing results, the tool is dismissed as a gimmick and the habit never takes hold.

These two days establish the basis for daily use of Microsoft Copilot. You understand which data it draws on and what it cannot do. You learn to frame a complete request with its context and the expected format. You apply it in Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint on your own tasks. Finally, you adopt sound verification and confidentiality reflexes.

Learning objectives

  • Explain how Microsoft Copilot works and where its limits lie
  • Frame a precise request stating the context and the expected format
  • Produce and refine a document in Word using Copilot

  • Apply verification rules and data confidentiality practices
