Description
Excel — AI Assistant in the Spreadsheet: Query Your Data, Generate and Verify
Obtain a formula, an analysis or a chart in plain language, then check what is returned
- 0.43 days — 3 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Writing a nested formula or building a summary table takes time when the spreadsheet is only used occasionally. A built-in assistant now makes it possible to request a calculation or an analysis in plain language. The data still has to be structured for it, and the user must be able to recognise an incorrect answer presented with confidence.
This three-hour virtual short format is strictly limited to the spreadsheet. Participants prepare a sheet the assistant can work with, request formulas, sorting, formatting and summaries, then systematically check the results obtained. The emphasis is on verification before any figure is reused in a document that will be circulated.
Learning objectives
- Prepare a worksheet so that it can be used by a built-in assistant
- Phrase a calculation or analysis request in plain language
- Obtain an explained formula and adapt it to your own table
- Have conditional formatting, a sort or a chart generated
- Verify a returned result before reusing it in a document
