Description

Professional Writing and AI: Preparing, Drafting and Refining Your Messages

Write emails and notes faster without losing your own voice or exposing sensitive information

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Writing takes up a significant share of the working day: emails, meeting notes, memos, standard replies. Artificial intelligence promises to speed up this work, but the resulting texts often sound hollow, repeat the same formulas and sometimes disclose information that should never have left the organisation.

One day to bring AI into the three stages of writing: preparing the outline and the angles, drafting a text suited to the reader, then reviewing and verifying before sending. Participants work on their own recurring documents and leave with prompt templates and usage rules that can be shared across their team.

Learning objectives

  • Prepare the outline and the angles of a document before starting to write
  • Frame a prompt that produces a text suited to the reader
  • Rework a generated text so that it carries your own tone
  • Check facts
  • figures and confidential information before sending
