Description
Anti-Bribery Code of Conduct: Drafting, Rolling Out and Keeping It Alive
Turning the code of conduct into a readable working rule rather than a document that is published and forgotten
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
Many organisations have a code of conduct attached to their internal policy handbook that nobody ever consults. Employees exposed to procurement or to dealings with public authorities do not know what to do when an intermediary offers a gift. The document exists, but it guides no decision.
This short programme treats the code of conduct as an operational component of the anti-bribery framework. You work on drafting concrete situations rather than general principles, then on the link with the disciplinary framework and the whistleblowing channel. Roll-out is addressed from the perspective of the functions genuinely exposed to risk.
Learning objectives
- Position the code of conduct among the other components of the anti-bribery framework
- Draft prohibited situations based on the bribery risk mapping
- Align the code of conduct with internal policies and the disciplinary framework
- Organise roll-out for the most exposed functions
- Plan update arrangements and evidence of distribution
