Description
Anti-Bribery Compliance Inspections: Preparing, Evidencing and Responding
Prepare for an anti-bribery inspection by testing what your programme can actually demonstrate
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
An anti-bribery programme can exist on paper and prove very little on the day it is examined: a risk map that has not been refreshed, partial third-party due diligence, training with no traceability, accounting controls that are undocumented. Teams often discover the gap between the written procedure and its actual implementation when the first requests for evidence arrive.
This one-day programme reconstructs the full sequence of an anti-bribery compliance inspection: initial questionnaire, submission of evidence, interviews with employees, on-site visit, report and follow-up. It teaches participants to audit their own programme before an inspection and to organise evidence pillar by pillar, in line with recognised international benchmarks such as ISO 37001.
Learning objectives
- Audit your anti-bribery programme against the expectations of an inspection
- Organise documentary evidence pillar by pillar
- Prepare employees for interviews conducted by inspectors
- Manage requests for evidence and exchanges during the inspection
- Address the findings of the report and build a remediation plan
