Description

Anti-Bribery and Corruption: Spotting, Preventing and Responding to Solicitations

Understand what an anti-bribery compliance programme expects of a company and recognise a high-risk situation

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Client gifts, the use of a local intermediary, a payment requested to speed up an administrative formality: high-risk situations rarely present themselves in an obvious form. Employees apply anti-bribery procedures without always understanding what those procedures are designed to prevent, or what they should do when doubt arises.

Two hours to establish the essentials: what bribery and trading in influence actually cover, the prevention measures expected of a company under UAE anti-bribery requirements and international standards such as ISO 37001, how the internal reporting channel works, and the course of action to follow when facing a solicitation. This foundation-level session aims to build a shared understanding across all functions.
