Description

Personal Impact: Commanding Presence, Holding Attention and Convincing

Three days to be heard in meetings and to leave a lasting impression once you have spoken

  • 3 days — 21 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Strong ideas sometimes go unnoticed for want of presence: a voice that fades at the end of each sentence, avoidant eye contact, a point buried under qualifiers. In meetings, the person who occupies the space is listened to even when the argument is weaker. Over the months, the gap widens in terms of visibility and of the responsibilities entrusted.

This 21-hour programme works on the concrete components of personal impact. Over three days participants practise their posture, voice and eye contact, structure their messages so that they are remembered, handle interruptions and difficult questions, and measure the effect produced through feedback from the group.

Learning objectives

  • Identify the effect produced by your posture, voice and eye contact
  • Structure a short intervention so that it is remembered
  • Occupy the space and the speaking time in meetings
  • Respond to an interruption without losing your thread
  • Adapt your register to the audience and to what is at stake

What makes this programme different

Each participant speaks in front of the group several times a day
Targeted feedback on three observable criteria at a time
A comparison between the first and last recorded interventions
