Description
Trust Within Teams: Observing Behaviours, Repairing and Committing
Three hours to understand what builds trust within a team and how to act on it
- 0.43 days — 3 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
In a team where trust is lacking, everything slows down. Information circulates poorly. Mistakes are concealed. Meetings produce surface agreement that no one subsequently applies. Trust cannot be declared at an offsite: it results from repeated behaviours that others can verify.
This 3-hour module identifies those behaviours and makes them observable. Participants assess the level of trust within their own team against concrete criteria, then pinpoint the situations that erode it. They then select three working commitments and prepare how to present them to the team.
Learning objectives
- Describe the behaviours that build trust within a team
- Assess the level of trust in your team against observable criteria
- Identify the day-to-day situations that erode trust
- Formulate a working commitment that others can verify
- Prepare the presentation of these commitments to your team
