1. Who we are

This website, mpf-academy.ae, is operated by MPF Academy Limited, Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you use the contact form, we collect the information you enter: full name, work e-mail address, organisation, job title, area of interest, number of participants, preferred format, preferred language and the description of your project. If you write to us by e-mail, we collect the content of your message and the address you write from.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the date and time of your visit. Cookies are described in section 7.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a training proposal.
• To manage the relationship that may follow, including organising and delivering programmes.
• To keep this website secure, available and working correctly.
• To comply with obligations that apply to us under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

4. Legal basis

We process the data you send through the contact form on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. Where a commercial relationship follows, we process data because it is necessary to prepare or perform our agreement with you, and to meet our legal obligations.

5. Who has access

Your data is accessible to the MPF Academy team members who need it to handle your request, and to service providers acting on our behalf, in particular for website hosting and e-mail. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Some of these providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Cross-border transfers of personal data are governed by Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. If you would like details of the providers involved for your data, write to contact@mpf-academy.ae.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to answer your request and, where a relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship and the period afterwards during which we may need to evidence it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website.

Strictly necessary cookies

These make the site work and cannot be switched off: the language cookie set by our multilingual system, and cookies required by the site platform for security and basic functionality.

Non-essential cookies

Our e-commerce component may set cookies that record how you arrived on the site, such as the referring page or campaign. These are not necessary for the site to work. You can refuse them using the banner shown on your first visit, and change your mind at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site and reloading the page.

8. Your rights

Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you may:

• ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your data;

• object to processing in the cases provided by the law;
• ask to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
• withdraw your consent where processing is based on it.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure; please do not send us sensitive information through the contact form.

10. Children

This website addresses organisations and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Please check it from time to time.
