Description

Innovation Management and AI: Explore, Select and Deploy

One day to build an innovation pipeline that survives beyond the demo

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Expert
  • Up to 6 participants

Demonstrators follow one another and stop there. A team tests a tool, obtains an encouraging result, presents a demo, and then the subject fades away for lack of an owner, a budget and a decision criterion. Innovation remains a stock of scattered initiatives that nobody knows how to prioritise or close.

This 7-hour day treats innovation as a managed process. Participants organise idea collection, set the criteria for moving from one stage to the next, run time-boxed experiments and prepare the conditions for either scaling up or a deliberate stop.

Learning objectives

  • Structure an innovation pipeline into stages and decision gates
  • Define the selection and stop criteria for an initiative
  • Design an experiment with a limited duration and budget
  • Organise the move from a demonstrator to an operated service
  • Report on the performance of an innovation portfolio

What makes this programme different

An innovation pipeline mapped out in session with its decision gates
A time-boxed experiment brief ready to be launched
A set of stop criteria to close an initiative without conflict
