Description

AI for Public Sector Managers: Organising, Writing and Leading Your Team

Reducing the administrative load on public sector managers to free up time for steering activity and supporting their teams

  • 0.5 days — 3.5 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Managers in government entities spend a significant share of their week on administrative documents, meeting records and reporting. The time left for their teams and for steering activity shrinks accordingly. AI tools are readily available, yet their use often remains limited to isolated trials with no shared ground rules and no measurable gain.

This three-and-a-half-hour session focuses on the daily reality of a department head. Participants build tooling for their recurring documents, design a simple activity tracker, prepare a sensitive management conversation and draft a set of usage rules to propose to their team.

Learning objectives

  • Identify management tasks that consume time without adding value
  • Use AI to prepare meetings, internal memos and meeting records
  • Structure an activity tracking dashboard from departmental data
  • Prepare a difficult conversation using generated scenarios
  • Set out AI usage rules within your team

What makes this programme different
