An approximate tariff heading, a poorly substantiated origin or an Incoterm chosen out of habit is enough to hold a shipment at customs. The company then discovers unexpected duties, delivery delays and a liability it believed rested with its freight forwarder.

Three days to connect the three links of the export file: customs regulations, the transport contract and the documents accompanying the goods. Each participant leaves with a tariff classification method and a control checklist that can be applied to their own shipments.

Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
