Once the basics of customs clearance are mastered, the difficulties shift: determining origin for partially processed goods, selecting the special customs procedure suited to a given flow, ensuring consistency between the Incoterm negotiated and the responsibilities actually assumed, and substantiating customs value. These matters involve significant amounts and are judged on the quality of the documentation retained.

Two days to address these advanced points on real flows and prepare the company for an audit. Participants work on their own logistics set-ups and leave with the supporting documents to be assembled for each one.

Teaching methods

Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
