Description

Collective Effectiveness: Organising Teamwork, Building Cooperation and Measuring Results

Act on how work is organised rather than on individuals in order to move the team forward

  • 4 days — 28 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • All levels
  • Up to 6 participants

A team made up of capable professionals can still deliver disappointing results: duplicated tasks, information that does not circulate, meetings that lead nowhere, limited mutual support between roles. The manager pushes harder on individual performance while the real issue lies in how collective work is organised.

Four days complemented by a virtual module to act on how the team functions: allocation of roles, information flow, useful rituals, cooperation across functions and measurement of the results achieved. Each participant produces a diagnosis of their team and then an improvement plan.

Learning objectives

  • Diagnose the collective functioning of your team
  • Clarify the allocation of roles and responsibilities
  • Organise the flow of information between roles
  • Run team rituals that lead to decisions
  • Measure collective results and report on them

What makes this programme different

A diagnosis of your team's functioning is produced during the programme
A virtual module extends the in-person sessions to follow up on implementation
The team role matrix is built and then tested between two sessions
