Description

HR Follow-Up on Career Development Reviews: Consolidate, Use and Secure the Data

One hour to turn review records into something other than a stack of filed documents

  • 0.14 days — 1 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • All levels
  • Up to 6 participants

The review campaign ends and the records reach the HR department. They are filed and then forgotten until the next campaign. Mobility requests never surface. Training needs are collected elsewhere, and employees see that nothing has followed from what they expressed.

This one-hour module focuses on what happens after the review. It covers the collection and quality control of review records, then the extraction of information useful for the skills development plan and for internal mobility. It closes on the feedback given to managers and employees. It complements the modules dedicated to the framework and the conduct of the review itself.

Learning objectives

  • Organise the collection and quality control of review records after a campaign
  • Consolidate the requests expressed into information HR can actually use
  • Feed the skills development plan from the content of the reviews
  • Identify individual situations requiring prompt handling
  • Report back to managers and employees on the actions taken

What makes this programme different

A method for consolidating review records into usable categories
An explicit link between reviews, the development plan and internal mobility
A module focused on the post-campaign phase, where most of the value is usually lost
