Description

Training Coordinator: Organising Sessions, Managing Records and Tracking Activity

Two days to take control of session logistics and ensure full traceability of training records

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

The training coordinator absorbs requests from managers, session schedules and follow-ups with providers. When the process is not clearly mapped, invitations go out late, agreements are signed after the session has taken place, and the supporting evidence is missing when the annual review or an audit arrives.

These 14 hours rebuild the complete process of a training activity, from the initial request through to closing the file. Participants put in place a request-handling workflow, a session tracking template and a list of documents to retain at each stage. Each leaves with a tracking dashboard adapted to their own organisation.

Learning objectives

  • Position the training coordinator role within the decision-making and request-handling process
  • Organise a training session from the invitation stage through to the end-of-course evaluation
  • Compile a complete administrative file for an in-house or external training activity
  • Prepare an internal budget approval and sponsorship request for a training activity
  • Maintain a tracking dashboard covering sessions costs and supporting documents

What makes this programme different

A request-handling workflow rebuilt step by step using participants' own cases
A checklist of documents to produce and retain for each type of training activity
A session tracking dashboard configured during the programme and taken away by each participant
