Description

Training Law and Governance: Framing, Securing and Funding Learning Activities

Understand the rules that govern the purchase and delivery of corporate training activities

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

The learning function often operates reactively. A programme requested by an employee, a budget approval refused, a training agreement signed without review, an obligation discovered during an audit. The governance framework can appear shifting and clear reference points are missing when arbitrating requests.

One day to establish the essentials: employer responsibilities in developing employee skills, the main learning schemes and the audiences they serve, the rules applicable to the delivery of training activities, and the key points of vigilance in relations with external providers.

Learning objectives

  • Frame the employer's responsibilities regarding employee training
  • Distinguish the main learning schemes and their access conditions
  • Identify the rules applicable to the delivery of a training activity
  • Secure training agreements and the records to be retained
  • Identify the funding sources available for each type of scheme
  • Position the role of employee representatives in monitoring training

What makes this programme different
