Description
Dangerous Goods by Road: Classification, Documentation and Safe Transport
Ship dangerous goods by road without errors in classification or documentation
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
A poorly classified dangerous goods consignment holds up loading or exposes the company during a roadside inspection. Labels do not match the transport document, exemption conditions are misjudged, and the driver discovers the problem on the loading bay just before departure.
Two days to secure the shipping chain for dangerous goods moved by road, in line with the UN Model Regulations and applicable UAE road transport requirements. The programme covers identification and classification of goods, packaging and marking rules, transport documentation and the duties of each party involved. Exercises are based on goods actually shipped by participants.

- Locate the provisions applicable to a given substance or article
- Apply packaging marking and labelling rules
