Description
CSR and Sustainable Supply Chain: Assessing Suppliers, Reducing and Tracking Impact
Reduce your supply chain footprint without degrading service levels or driving costs out of control
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
The supply chain concentrates a large share of an organisation's impacts: transport, packaging, storage and successive tiers of suppliers. Major clients now pass their requirements down to their suppliers, who receive questionnaires they are not equipped to answer.
These two days address the supply chain from a sustainability angle: mapping flows and impacts, responsible procurement and supplier assessment, transport and packaging, reverse logistics and finally performance indicators. The aim is to identify levers that are compatible with service constraints and to make them measurable.
Learning objectives
- Map the flows of the chain and locate the main impacts
- Embed environmental and social criteria into supplier selection
- Identify reduction levers in transport and packaging
- Organise reverse logistics and returns management
- Track the sustainable performance of the chain through shared indicators
