Description
IT Leadership and Digital Transformation: Framing, Prioritising and Engaging the Business
Lead digital transformation from the IT function instead of absorbing business-driven projects
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
The information systems function is pulled in every direction. Each business unit arrives with a tool already selected and a timeline already set. IT arbitrates without a shared framework and ends up maintaining a fragmented application landscape. Digital transformation becomes a collection of isolated projects whose contribution nobody measures.
These two days give IT leaders the means to regain the initiative. Participants connect the information systems roadmap to the organisation's strategic direction, then build a prioritised project portfolio. They work on the relationship with business units, change management and the indicators needed to report on transformation.
Learning objectives
- Connect the information systems roadmap to the organisation's strategic direction
- Assess the digital maturity of business processes
- Build a prioritised and arbitrated project portfolio
- Structure the relationship between the IT function and business units
- Organise change management for end users
- Report on transformation to executive management
