Description

Agile Project Management: Framing Requirements, Iterating and Delivering Value

Agility is not the absence of a framework but a different rhythm of decision-making and delivery

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Teams adopt agile rituals without always understanding their purpose. The daily stand-up turns into a reporting round and the product backlog into a task list with no genuine prioritisation. The outcome looks like a traditional project weighed down by additional ceremonies.

These two days establish the reference points and the practical habits of agile project management. You work on expressing requirements as user stories, then on prioritising the product backlog and running an iteration through to the client demonstration.

Learning objectives

  • Explain agile principles and how they differ from a sequential cycle
  • Write user stories supported by acceptance criteria
  • Order a product backlog according to value and risk
  • Run an iteration from planning through to review
  • Facilitate team rituals and draw practical adjustments from them

What makes this programme different

A complete product backlog built and prioritised during the session
A full iteration played out from launch to review
Practical markers to avoid rituals that lose their meaning
