Description

Generative AI for Administrative Support: Draft, Summarise and Verify

Using a conversational AI assistant for your writing and summaries, without relying on it for what it cannot do

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Generative artificial intelligence tools are now available to everyone, yet their use in an administrative support role often remains tentative. Either the output is bland and has to be rewritten from scratch, or the tool is avoided altogether for fear of exposing confidential information. The promised time savings never materialise.

One day to establish concrete, controlled practices: drafting and rephrasing a professional document, summarising a long report, preparing a meeting, translating and proofreading. Data confidentiality and verification of results are addressed at every stage. Each participant leaves with their own reusable set of prompts.

Learning objectives

  • Formulate a precise and well-contextualised request to a generative tool
  • Produce and rephrase a professional document from raw material
  • Summarise a long document and extract the key decision points
  • Check and correct output before it is circulated
  • Apply confidentiality rules to the data submitted to the tool

What makes this programme different

The cases worked on are the real documents and files handled in an administrative support role
Each participant builds their own library of reusable prompts
The limits of the tool are made visible through verification exercises

Programme

1What the tool can and cannot do

  • Provide examples to steer the tone and style
  • Follow up and refine through successive iterations
  • Save your effective prompts for reuse
