Description

Process Communication: Identifying Profiles, Choosing the Right Channel and Managing Stress

Two days to understand why some exchanges break down and to adapt your communication to different profiles

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

With certain colleagues, conversation flows without any particular effort. With others, the same message is poorly received, misunderstood or taken the wrong way, even though the intention was identical. These repeated breakdowns wear down working relationships and turn into lasting tension.

This 14-hour programme introduces a way of reading personality profiles and the communication channels that suit each of them. Participants learn to identify the preferences of the people they work with from observable cues, to select the appropriate channel and to recognise the behaviours that emerge under stress. The work is built around situations brought by the group.

Learning objectives

  • Describe the main personality profiles and their modes of perception
  • Identify the observable cues that reveal a person's preference
  • Select the communication channel suited to the profile identified
  • Recognise the behaviours that appear as stress increases
  • Restore a constructive exchange after a relational breakdown

What makes this programme different
