Description
Stress Management: Diagnosing Tensions, Addressing Root Causes and Anticipating Pressure
Two days to build an action plan addressing the organisational causes of workplace stress
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Workplace stress is often met with general advice, when in fact it stems from specific causes: unclear objectives, shifting priorities, constant interruptions and a lack of visibility. As long as these causes remain unidentified, the tension returns.
This 14-hour programme takes a diagnostic and action-based approach. Participants map their stress factors, measure their effects, then build a plan covering work organisation, clarification of requests and prevention of overload. Body-based techniques are covered as a complement rather than as the primary response.
Learning objectives
- Map your workplace stress factors and their frequency
- Distinguish between occasional tension and established stress
- Measure the effects of stress on your work and your working relationships
- Clarify a vague request before committing to a deadline
- Reorganise your workload to reduce situations of overload
- Build an individual prevention plan and monitor its effects
