Description

Remote Working: Structuring Your Day, Staying Reachable and Meeting Commitments

Three hours to establish a home-working rhythm that protects focus without cutting you off from the team

  • 0.43 days — 3 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

At home the familiar markers of the office disappear. Days stretch out with no clear beginning or end. Instant messaging fragments concentration, while at the same time you feel disconnected from your team and from the information that circulates informally in the workplace.

Three hours online to build a remote working routine that holds up over time. You define your availability windows and your protected focus time. You choose the right channel according to the nature of the message. You put in place the contact points that reassure your manager and colleagues without multiplying status reports.

Learning objectives

  • Structure a remote working day with clear start and end markers
  • Define availability windows and protected periods of concentration
  • Choose the communication channel suited to each type of message
  • Organise regular contact points with your manager and your team

What makes this programme different

A typical day template adjusted to your personal and family constraints
Availability rules formulated so they can be announced to the team
Work on real remote working situations brought by participants
