Description

AI Use Cases: Spotting Opportunities, Prioritising and Scoping Projects

One day to turn a vague list of ideas into qualified use cases that are ready for a decision

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Expert
  • Up to 6 participants

Management asks for use cases and what comes back is a list of intentions. Nobody can say what each one delivers, what it costs, or what data it assumes. Projects are then selected on conviction alone and stall the moment the team discovers that the required data does not exist in any usable form.

This 7-hour programme installs a method for identifying and scoping. Participants facilitate needs-gathering with business teams, qualify each candidate on value and feasibility, build a shared prioritisation grid, then draft the scoping note for the selected case.

Learning objectives

  • Facilitate a needs-gathering workshop with a business team
  • Qualify a use case on expected value and feasibility
  • Verify the availability and quality of the required data
  • Build a prioritisation grid shared across departments
  • Draft a scoping note that a project team can act on

What makes this programme different

A prioritisation grid built around your organisation's own criteria
An identification workshop facilitated by the participants themselves
A complete scoping note drafted on a real use case
