Description
Anti-Bribery Programme Inspections and Enforcement: Evidencing, Responding and Correcting
Prepare for an anti-bribery inspection by building the evidence of your programme starting today
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
An anti-bribery inspection by a regulator or an external assessor cannot be prepared once the notice arrives. What is requested relates to work already carried out: the risk mapping and its updates, third-party due diligence, dedicated accounting controls and training of exposed populations. Whatever has not been documented as the work progressed can no longer be reconstructed.
This short programme focuses on demonstrating the programme rather than designing it. You identify the evidence expected for each component, organise the collection and retention of records, prepare interviews with executives and operational staff, and anticipate the consequences of an inspection through to enforcement proceedings.
Learning objectives
- Describe how an anti-bribery inspection is conducted from notification to closing
- Identify the evidence expected for each component of the programme
- Organise the collection and retention of evidence as work progresses
- Prepare interviews with executives and operational staff
- Anticipate the outcomes of an inspection and the conduct of enforcement proceedings
