Generative artificial intelligence tools have settled into law firms and legal departments without anyone deciding what place they should hold. One associate summarises a document using a consumer tool while another has a draft submission written and reviews it too quickly. The questions come afterwards: what happens to the client's data, how much reliability can be given to the output, and what should be disclosed to the client about the use made in their matter.

These two hours are a practical workshop. Participants identify the tasks where these tools deliver a genuine gain, learn to frame a request that produces usable output, and put in place the controls that prevent a generated error from finding its way into a legal document.

Teaching methods

Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
