Description

CIA Internal Auditor: Revising the Syllabus, Practising MCQs and Managing the Exam

Structure your CIA preparation and practise exam questions under real test conditions

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Intermediate
  • Up to 6 participants

Preparing for the CIA on your own often leads to the same conclusion: the content is known but the multiple-choice questions are disconcerting. They require the international internal audit framework to be applied to a situation rather than a definition to be recalled. Add to this time pressure, the precise technical wording used in the exam and the difficulty of identifying which parts of the syllabus remain insufficiently mastered.

Two days of intensive practice organised around the parts of the exam: targeted revision of key concepts, followed by timed question sets and detailed answer reviews. Each participant leaves with a diagnostic by domain and a revision plan running through to the exam date.

Learning objectives

  • Understand the content and format of each part of the exam
  • Revise the key concepts of the international internal audit framework
  • Decode the wording of a multiple-choice question and eliminate distractors
  • Manage time across a timed question set
  • Build a personalised revision plan through to the exam date

What makes this programme different

Timed question sets reviewed question by question during the session
Individual diagnostic by syllabus domain based on scores achieved
Dedicated work on the technical audit terminology used in the exam
