Description

CSR Strategy and Governance: Connecting Commitments, Assigning Roles and Tracking Delivery

Give the corporate social responsibility approach a place that holds firm in company decisions

  • 0.14 days — 1 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Commitments are published but nothing connects them to the business plan. No owner is appointed, no budget is earmarked, trade-offs are settled case by case and the initiative fades once the announcement effect has passed. Teams see the gap between stated intentions and the decisions actually taken.

This one-hour module addresses structure. Participants connect priority issues to the company's strategic direction, build a governance map naming those accountable, and set the review rhythm that keeps the approach alive over time.

Learning objectives

  • Connect priority issues to the company's strategic direction
  • Frame commitments with a named owner and allocated resources
  • Build a governance map for the approach
  • Define the escalation and trade-off routes between competing issues
  • Set the review rhythm for commitments and action plans

What makes this programme different

Commitments are tested for whether they can be funded and assigned
The governance map is drawn up in session for a given organisation
Warning signs of a stalling initiative are identified together with their remedies
