Description

Digital Transformation: Framing Initiatives, Setting Priorities and Leading Change

Move from digital intentions to a decided roadmap that business teams genuinely own

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Digital initiatives multiply without a common thread: a collaboration tool here, a customer portal there, data scattered across applications that do not talk to each other. Business heads wait for decisions that never come, and teams experience every new rollout as one more constraint.

In 14 hours, this programme provides a method to assess the organisation's real level of maturity, turn ambition into prioritised initiatives and set up the governance that will move them forward. Each participant works on their own scope and leaves with a sequenced roadmap.

Learning objectives

  • Assess the digital maturity of your own scope
  • Define a transformation target expressed as value for the customer
  • Prioritise initiatives according to impact and effort required
  • Structure the programme governance and roles
  • Build an adoption plan with clear tracking indicators

What makes this programme different

The maturity assessment is carried out on the participant's actual scope
Initiatives are prioritised live on an impact and effort matrix
Each participant leaves with a sequenced roadmap and its indicators

Programme

1Digital Maturity of the Organisation

Start from what exists rather than from tools

  • Measure how the tools already deployed are actually used
  • Identify processes that still rely on manual re-entry of data
  • Position the organisation against practices in its sector
  • Distinguish digitising an existing process from redesigning a model

2Vision and Roadmap

Translate ambition into decided initiatives

  • Express the target in terms of expected benefits for customers and teams
  • Break the target down into initiatives each owned by a business function
  • Prioritise initiatives according to effort and impact
  • Sequence the initiatives over a realistic timeline

3Governance, Roles and Data

Decide who arbitrates and at what pace

  • Position the sponsor and the steering committee
  • Clarify how responsibilities are shared between business functions and IT
  • Set the rhythm of decisions and milestone reviews
  • Establish security and data protection rules from the framing stage

4Adoption and Change Management

Drive adoption rather than impose change

  • Identify resistance and its real underlying causes
  • Build the internal communication plan
  • Organise user upskilling and support
  • Track actual adoption rather than rollout rates alone

Who is it for

Executives, business unit directors, functional managers and project managers responsible for leading a digital transformation initiative.
